LABORATORY TECHNICIAN & MECHANICAL TEST TECHNICIAN The Laboratory Technician role will involve the operation of analytical equipment, the manufacture of formulated products and to provide general support to development chemists. The Mechanical Test Technician role will involve the operation of mechanical test equipment and the manufacture of test samples. Suitable
candidates will be observant, detail conscious, practically minded and
capable of maintaining the highest levels of laboratory cleanliness.
They must be self-driven, motivated and able to work with limited
supervision. Candidates for both roles are likely to be educated to "A"
level standards in Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics or an appropriate
science. But applicants with some knowledge of chemistry or physic and
laboratory experience will be considered.
