Key Accountabilities:

• Ensure effective leadership of the Mechanical, Control, Instrumentation and Measurement groups within the Testing Support function.
• Lead, recruit and develop an effective team in order to meet department objectives.
• Develop and effectively manage Testing Support revenue and capital budgets.
• Ensure effective maintenance of all equipment relating to Testing in order to minimise Rig downtime.
• Ensure effective calibration of measurement equipment and standards in accordance with relevant industry standards and customer requirements.
• Implement performance metrics with the objective of continuously improving the contribution of the Testing Support Group to business activities.
• Review and implement the investment in new equipment and technology related to the activities of Mechanical Testing. 

Required Skills/Knowledge/Expertise:

• It is essential that you have:
  
  • Proven ability as a first line manager.
  • Experience of Project Management with multi-disciplinary teams.
  • A flexible approach to working hours and occasional travel.
    
  
  
• The following would be advantageous:
  
  • A degree in Control, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent .
  • Experience working within a Control Engineering, Electrical, Instrumentation or Manufacturing environment, as an Engineer or Manager.
