At NEXT Directory, we don't do cold calling. In this role you'll be on the end of a phone for customers who want to make an order or enquiry.

Most of your time will be spent talking to customers, and that can mean anything from receiving their orders, checking and confirming stock availability, arranging deliveries, locating undelivered goods - and everything in-between. So it's a busy job, and just about every call is different.

No wonder then that you need a fantastic phone manner, as well as a friendly, professional approach. Often, it's all about problem solving; and your decisions will be important, so you have to be able to take responsibility, and ask for advice when you need it.

Above all, things move fast in our call centres, so we'll look to you to be enthusiastic, flexible, and open to change and improvement. In fact, you'll see change as a great opportunity to learn and develop new skills.

The salary for these roles ranges from £6.62 per hour at entry level, to £7.01 per hour after Level 1 ‘enquiry’ training and £7.54 per hour at Level 2. These rates are for Customer Service Advisors aged 18 and over.
